I am Andrea Rogers, and this is my website where I host some of my digital creations.
Recently we left the Washington D.C area and moved to the eclectic artist freindly city of Austin Texas to continue to focus on our work, and soak up the sunshine and good karma. I have been involved with the arts in many forms, fine arts, photography, computer graphics, music, and luthier apprenticing.
About the nature of this website. Hosted on this site are a few of my VRML worlds. VRML is the open format Virtual Reality Modeling Language. With VRML I can express ideas that combine 3D modeled scenes, painting, photography and music in ways that I cannot express through traditional formats.
VRML can be used for games, architectural walkthroughs, science and technology demonstrations, and any idea you can dream up. Most 3D modeling programs have VRML exporters, and VRML can be edited with a simple text editor such as word pad. You can see how worlds are put together, finetuning and making changes or updates,by taking the VRML file, such as "surface.wrl "or most any other ".wrl" by downloading the file then opening it up in word pad.
Besides VRML, I host some of my art, photography, music, and texture maps. I support the creative commons. Reality is what you make it!
